Urban message device and urban space

This project provides an integer proposal to suggest, not only Taipei's flood prevention infrastructure but raised an environment improvement proposal for the Hua-Chun overpass bridge area. The project suggests the spatial retreat of the parking lot outside the embankment, as well as the streets landscape inside to a multi-purpose civilian space. The gate control room is molded as a linear, speed-like construction, to accommodate the nearby peripheral environment.

我們提案的概念是提供一個整體客觀的規劃建議，不僅提供台北市防汛設施之基本功能；同時亦針對基地堤外停車空間動線設施、堤內市街景觀提出改善建議。以拆除後新建之堤外人行階梯平台，整合華中橋之高架橋下空間，塑造成一個多向度的開放地景--多向度橋下生活空間。疏散門控制室則被塑造成具線性、速度感的建築造型，來因應堤內道路旁的周邊環境。

we proposed a lighting design for the construction, similar to "the signal tower" concept. Taking a steel iron mesh material as a thin layer, which set between the gate and the embankment, we used colored lighting illumination as a flood-like metropolis information surface. And the lighting device will work with the electronic bulletin of the market nearby, which will become an interesting urban information space.

另外我們以燈光設計為基礎，提出一個類似「烽火臺」的燈光設計概念。我們以一個鋼構鐵網的皮層，在其與疏散門及堤防之間，設計不同顏色的燈光照明，以作為汛期來臨的都市訊息設施介面。另外亦整合燈光設計及展示板設計於堤內堤防牆面，期待未來能配合新建果菜市場的啟用，而成為一個有趣的都市訊息空間。
