黃金博物館

The transition of jinguashi village is an epitome of Taiwan gold mining history. Under the collaboration of Taipei county government, Taiwan Power Company and Taiwan Sugar Corporation, the Gold Museum represents the history of the gold mining town. By displaying how mineral deposits were formed, the property of pure gold, the miner’s mining and trade gears and the art of gold creation, people not only experience the life of miners but get an integrated understanding of gold.

在台北縣政府、台電公司及台糖公司所共同推動辦理的「黃金博物館園區整體規劃案」中，黃金博物館呈現昔日金瓜石採礦歷史場域， 展出的物件包括了昔日坑道中採礦設備、 文件、 礦工用具及生活用品等類的文物，藉以了解金瓜石地區礦業生活及興衰。

展示空間利用空間長向特性，試著將金瓜石當地的地景特性、植物、礦石或舊有建築元素加以轉化，並以影像或空間材質方式導入展場之中，強調視覺的延續性，以文字與圖像的延伸，並利用單體及空間中牆面、地面等三度空間的變化，界定出不同展示主題，豐富空間的層次變化。
